Quality undertakings
The Home of Translation affirms its commitment to the environment and society with a policy structured around three main themes: the well-being of people, actions and initiatives for society and protection of the environment. To better guide our actions, we have adopted a CSR definition that steers and anchors our approach:
CSR encompasses all of the company’s policies in order to promote the physical and mental well-being of each person, including its employees, clients, suppliers, competitors and local or more distant communities. It concerns our respect for the environment, standards and government requirements and aims to build, establish and protect transparency and relationships of trust.
We have also set up a CSR committee tasked with implementing initiatives, assessing our performance and monitoring our impact on society and the environment. Our desire to adopt an environmentally friendly and socio-responsible approach is reflected in concrete actions such as supporting early-career translators through employment, limiting the use of paper by prioritising digital documents, supporting charities through our purchases and patronage actions and implementing skills sponsorship projects.
The Home of Translation is also certified in ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, a standard published in 2015 that assesses the company's environmental impact and measures progress through targets and regular audits carried out both in-house and by a third party.
